Pastor Ron Green

Dr. Ron Green is the new Senior Pastor of the Word of God Church and Ministries Baltimore. Ron is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Morgan State University with the B.S.E.E. in 1994, and the Doctor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2010. Since joining the Army Research Laboratory in 2005, Dr. Green has worked as an electronics engineer performing research on electronic materials and devices.

In 2016, Ron was called to minister the gospel and was licensed to preach by his brother, Pastor Keith Lamont Green who retired in 2022. In 2017, Ron was licensed by Bishop Eric Warren Davis, Presiding Prelate of the Word of God Church and Ministries International, headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. Ron has served in a variety of leadership roles in the ministry including the following: Youth Minister, Deacon’s Ministry, Worship Arts Ministry, and Discipleship ministry to edify, encourage, and train believers in God’s Word. Ron led a very successful outreach Initiative from 2015 to 2019 at Liberty Elementary School and brought the good news of Jesus to children K5 through 5 th grade. Through the Good News Club, several children came to know Jesus as Savior and many families committed to the Word of God Baltimore Church through membership.

Pastor Ron’s vision for Word of God Baltimore is to build a strong ministry with capabilities to impact culturally diverse communities with the gospel message of Jesus Christ, and bring healing, opportunity, purpose, and encouragement (HOPE) to all generations. Ron is married to Dorcas Green, and they have four children, Kenisha-Tedford Crawford, Ici Crawford, Mariah Green, and Cameron Green.
